OCCS. GROOMED
Cabin Glades is a fun trail, although short, that is just shy of the East wall on the East side of A-Basin. The pitch is fairly steep with moguls, large rocks and some trees. Intermediates will be challenged. There is usually a smooth, sometimes groomed gully that leads you around this small trail. However, sometimes it has small moguls that add to the challenge. This is especially true at the end, where speed is needed because there is a long run out at the end to get to the Lenawee chair. If you don’t get enough speed, you’ll be walking or poling, while the people on the chair laugh at your ignorance...
