Black Forest is an more open trail below the hiking line at the bottom of the Montezuma Bowl. This shot is usually nice since most don’t want to hike. You will have to hike around 20 minutes if you choose to do this trail and more if your fitness is not good. You will find open powder shots here, with trees, moguls, and a fun not so steep pitch. Come here a couple of days after a powder day to find untouched but remember; you will work for it!
